I was experimenting the other day with a used Cambo monorail view camera (you know, the kind with the bellows in between the lens and the back of the camera; see photo below).
I spent a lot of time — and trouble — customizing the camera so that I could attach my Mamiya RZ67 lenses to the front of the camera and my Nikon D3x to the back of the camera. I’ll give the details of how I did that later on. For now, I’ll skip the technical details. I took the camera out in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia for a little night photography and came up with an interesting shot.
